FC Polska beats team Baro 5-3
Baro managed to stay the first half with 2-2. The second half FC Polska scored 3 uncontested goals. Over all the defense was sloppy and uncoordinated. Team Baro had numerous opportunities to score. The highly anticipated Hajititi did not perform as expected. The golie timing was off. Despite the team had more possesion of the ball the whole game, it failed to capitalize. I expect a better co-ordianted defense and more attacks for the games to come. I also encourage players to come on time and be ready at least 15 minutes befor the game.
Goal Scorers: Belay, Carlos(Guest Player), Miki(Asmat)
Next Game: September 30, 2007 Baro vs Georgetown Merchants 11:00 AM at Ingraham High School Field #2. (AG: Baro Reporter)

Ethiopian Millennium festivities end successfully. Hundreds of Ethiopians attended this event from
Friday September 14 2007 to Sunday September 16 2007 at Magnuson Park. It was a delightful, peaceful and colorful.
Also congratulation to Team Gambia for Ethiopian Millennium Soccer Tournament Champion and for the runner up
Portland Abyssina Sports Club. Seattle's own Ethiopian Baro Sports Club failed to qualify for the final by losing to Team Gambia 2-0. We thank the organizers for this historical event.

Hajititi is Back!!!
Haji and his crew of Baro dismantled
San Dans 6-2 on the first game of Division 2A GSSL. Better than ever, Haji(also known as Hussien) had a wonderful game
with his fellow players: Nati, Nure, Belay, Robel, Miki(Keyu), Miki (Asmat), Johnny, Senay, Desta , Birhanu and more.
Despite losing Belay(the top scorer) on the second half, the team managed to stay on top. Also a big kudos for the team Capitain and /Mid-fielder Nati Tamiru.
Can Haji help the team to sustain this calibur for the next game? But many observers and game analysts think otherwise. We will wait and see.
