Adulis beats Baro 3-1
Well organized, determined Adulis with a deep bench dominate the entire 90 minutes and beat Baro. Despite the decent game Baro played, they could not prevail and became a threat. Adulis has improved much better and got very young legs.
Some key players were injured and some were not available because of work schedule. Also losing the full center half back Addisu with head injury at the first half was a major blow to Baro's defence. Coach Eshetu did not have enough substitutes to match the agility and fitness of Adulis players. There were some decent plays at the front by Yosef and Belay, and some at the mid-field. Overall Baro was not at its best condition to win the game.
I would like to stress once again that we have to find a decent permanent Golie for the rest of the remaining games. More physical exercises and trainings are required to be fit and ready for the upcoming Chicago tournament. As I observe, there are only few players physically fit and ready to play 70-90 minutes. I'm not trying to finger a point on individuals. If a player fails, the team fails. We win as a team, we lose as a team. We can do it, We have been there, we have done that. Let's get busy and play the games Baro is known of for and have some fun. Next game is important, we play the arch-rival Gambian team Seagam. Hope I will see more players fit and ready and kick some you know what.
